About Teen Ranger Club

Teen Ranger Club is a social group for teens aged 12 to 19. It's designed to help teens learn and practice social skills, functional life skills and skills to develop and maintain meaningful friendships. The program will incorporate the evidence-based social skills intervention program, PEERS® to teach different skill sets in various outing activities each week to make the learning process natural, age-appropriate, fun and interactive for our teens!

Learning Objectives

  • Conversational skills--Small talk, entering an ongoing conversation, ending a conversation, finding common interests, etc.

  • Perspective-taking

  • Problem-solving

  • Teamwork

  • Leadership

  • Executive functioning skills--planning, organizing, time management, etc.

  • Compassionate skills

  • Skills to develop and maintain friendships

  • Functional life skills

Program Details

  • Start Date: Spring | Summer - Sunday, July 14, 2024 | Fall (Recurring)

  • Time: 10:00am-1:00pm on Sundays (3hrs)

  • Location: Buck or Two at Metrotown

  • Program Length: 8 weeks
